Ayurveda is known to be the oldest medical science originating, more than five thousand years ago. Ayurveda is a Sanskrit word, derived from its roots: Ayu means “Life” & Veda means “The knowledge of” literally means “The knowledge of life” or “The art of Conscious living”.
Ayurveda is so strongly built that it has stood the test of time for thousands of years & has its roots in the Ancient Vedic literature which explains every aspect of life, supporting a person to create balance in body, mind, emotions & soul.

In the modern world, Ayurveda is becoming increasingly popular because its systematic approach principles are to preserve & support health in the present and to prevent diseases from occurring in the future. If one is already suffering from a disease, Ayurveda teaches how to heal ourselves with the aim being to get to the cause.
We are a part of nature. Just as all creatures and plants live by the laws of Nature to create health and balance within their beings, we too must adhere to these same Laws if we desire health. Ayurveda draws on the inherent principles of nature for its foundation and guiding principles to help us maintain balance maintain connection with the spirit of one’s essential self.
